Japanese Restaurant Uniforms
Japanese restaurant uniforms are always reminiscent of traditional Japanese kimonos(Kimono), the delicate collar overlaps on the chest; the long sleeves(furisote)/ stay sleeves(tomesode). The current Japanese restaurant uniforms can be divided into two styles in general: Japanese style and western style and matched with the decoration style and grade of the restaurant. Regardless of the style, the uniform design must include traditional Japanese kimono elements to highlight the brand image.
Client – Senyo
Position – Waiter
Design Concept – To modernise the traditional Japanese restaurant uniform, we must place the strong contrast red & black colors carefully to avoid the busy feeling. A thin red trim outlines outstanding the collar design and a rough texture, but light fabric two-tone apron enhances the layering.
